Amino Wire
About Amino Wire
Amino Wire is a trade-press desk covering peptide regulation, enforcement, lab-testing literacy and factual vendor status. Here's what we do and don't do.
Last updated October 19, 2026
Amino Wire covers the legal and market side of peptides: what FDA, DOJ and the courts are doing, how laboratory testing works, and what the public record says about named sellers. We write for readers who want the primary record, not opinions.
What we publish
- News: real, dated events (warning letters, policy changes, indictments, sentences, closures), each linked to the underlying document.
- Regulation explainers: how U.S. drug law applies to peptides, with statute and regulation citations.
- Testing explainers and the annotated COA: what HPLC, mass spectrometry, endotoxin and sterility tests measure.
- Vendor status logs: dated facts with sources. No scores, ratings or recommendations.
- Tracker: a timeline of events, also as a CSV.
What we don't do
- We do not rank, score, rate or recommend vendors, and we publish no "best" lists.
- We do not give dosing, protocols or medical advice.
- We do not accept payment for coverage, and we carry no affiliate links.
Who writes it
Articles are written and reviewed by the Amino Wire Editorial Team, the site's news and explainer desk. Review means a second pass by the desk that checks every claim, date and figure against its cited record; it is not medical or legal review, and we do not claim individual credentials. Our methodology explains the process step by step.
